DCM Token - Initial and total supply
Decentria's money is an ESDT (built on Elrond) token called DCM.
Initial supply of 117,336,000 DCM token is distributed as follows:
- 64.12% - Airdrop for DFC NFT owners - 75,240,000 DCM
- 12.82% Marketing & partnerships - 15,048,000 DCM
- 12.82% DEX's initial Liquidity Pool - 15,048,000 DCM
- 10.23% Metabonding rewards - 12,000,000 DCM
- 0% Founders and team - 0 DCM
The total supply of DCM is NOT capped, but flexible like the currency of any real country. Read below inflationary/deflationary mechanisms and how we aim to keep things in check.
DCM Airdrop & Claim details
From the initial supply, of 117,336,000 $DCM tokens, 64.12% will be airdropped to the DFC NFT owners (75,240,000 $DCM) as follows:
- Genesis – minimum* 1000 $DCM/NFT
- Ancestors – minimum* 1400 $DCM/NFT
- Warriors – minimum* 1700 $DCM/NFT
- Builders – minimum* 2500 $DCM/NFT
- Decentrians – minimum* 3300 $DCM/NFT
*Each edition has an Airdrop base score and a Rarity multiplier.
So, for example, a Legendary NFT from Warriors edition will have 5 x 1,700 = 8,500 DCM airdrop. Celestials NFTs from Decentrians edition will have the biggest airdrops: 10 x 3,300 = 33,000 DCM (at $0.1 listing price this would be $3,300).
In the first edition, Genesis, the minimum airdrop is 1,000 DCM (Common) and the maximum is 10,000 DCM (Celestial). More details on the NFTs page.
To receive the airdrop, decentrians will have to Claim the tokens in Decentria App, where the KYC verification process (Know Your Customer) will be needed. We have to go on this route to be able to list on DEXs/CEXs and grow the network globally.
The claim will be enabled no later than Q4 2022 when other key pieces from Decentria's structure are online.
DCM mining - Inflation
After the initial supply is distributed, the only way to mint New DCM is to open New D-Corps through the DCL program, our D-Corps Launchpad.
Learn first what are D-Corps and D-Corps Launchpad.
So DCM's Total Supply expands every time a new real business is added to the network. As the monetary mass grows, also does the number of users, demand, transactions, and other deflationary mechanisms (detailed in next section). For every capital the community raise for each D-Corp, an equivalent amount of DCM + Yield is being minted.
DCM burning - Deflation
Once functional, D-Corps have a powerful deflationary role in Decentria's monetary mass through a few methods:
- more users into the network => increased DCM demand;
- small DCM fees for each payment are being burned;
- a fraction of D-Corps's profit is being burned as DCM every month;
- bonuses to employees are being paid in DCM;
- rewards and cashback for customers are being paid in DCM;
- Decentria's Governance expenses are being paid in DCM.
Also, D-Corps Launchpad (DCL Program) creates the demand for DCM in many ways:
- staking DCM for tickets in D-Corps Pool to access DMBs (Decentria Mining Bonds);
- buying DCM for DMBs tickets;
- part of D-Corps's reserves are kept in DCM;
Token metrics
The projected DCM supply as minted vs burned/staked/locked is presented below in the chart. As new D-Corps are formed the minting will have a small advantage but as time goes on and the network grows (more users, staking, burning) an inflection point will be reached and the curve inverts. From that point on, the model becomes self-sustainable as the network effect kicks in. In our calculations, that moment is no later than mid-2026, without taking into account the delay from DMB's payments which are spread to at least 12 months (new supply has a delay over demand). At that time we should have over 20,000 D-Corps in more than 200 cities from at least 10 countries.
As Decentria's economy grows, the total supply will still expand but slower than Decentria's Network and GDP. At some point the system becomes deflationary and settings can be adjusted to reduce the burn and fees, giving more benefits to decentrians.
As Decentria evolves into a bigger network, users number will increase faster than the D-Corps number. Even when we don't add new D-Corps the existing ones will attract more new users into the system.
Network growth
After opening the first D-Corps we target a linear growth first year and set the system (adjustments to different parameters, and governance structures) for an exponential expansion. The first year's target is to have over 250 D-Corps in 14+ cities from 2-3+ countries:
Then, each year we'll expand faster:
After 5 years we target at least 200,000 D-Corps in over 1,000 cities from 20+ countries, with at least 40,000,000 active users.
Further growth will continue till a critical mass is achieved, a point of no return, and the whole world will be decentralized.
